Cannabis Cultivation Assistant

A Cannabis Cultivation Assistant assists the cannabis grow team with the activities of cultivating cannabis in all areas of the grow operation. 

CCAs are responsible for managing plants from vegetative stage through harvest and plant tracking under regulations, and understanding various types of cultivation as well as the differences in cannabis and hemp cultivars, indica, sativa, cannabinoid content, plus the role of terpenes in cultivation and best practices for growing different strains. 

CCAs also have knowledge of the environmental conditions necessary for cannabis and hemp cultivation (temp, humidity, pH, air filtration, etc.). CCAs understand all tasks in the grow cycle including: 

  • Germination
  • Cloning
  • Transplanting
  • Feeding schedules
  • Defoliation
  • Topping
  • Flushing
  • Foliar
  • Preventative sprays
  • Drying
  • Curing
  • Trimming

Competencies on waste disposal and inventory management will be included.
